The Fellowship of United Noobs (F.U.N) was formed as an alternative to the typical "big" guilds. Here at F.U.N we are much more relaxed and try not to over-police the members.

It's our belief that this is a game in which to have fun. We try to limit undo pressure. We avoid "Gestapo tactics" but also offer rules and guidelines. Most of these guidelines are born out of common courtesy.

Guidelines and Rules concerning the expected behavior in F.U.N :

1-If you join F.U.N you agree to adopt and enforce the following rules and guidelines.

2-In all forms of communication, be nice! Please use common sense and courtesy.

3-Swearing, racial slurs, and other forms of offensive speech will not be tolerated. Our guild chat & forum(s) adopt a MPAA "PG-13" rating. Check here for details: PG-13

4-The /as (alliance channel) is ultimately a resource channel dedicated to our unity. Please share PvE/RvR information, crafter business, and other similar issues concerning the game. Avoid mention of religion, politics, and finances. In a gaming environment, these topics tend to serve no other purpose than to divide. Our purpose is to unite. No matter what the topic, open a separate chat group for extended discussions that do not concern DAoC or F.U.N. Special Note: in regard to crafter business, while it is beneficial to publicize your crafting skills for monetary gain, please avoid spamming the whole /as continually; once in a while is enough.

5- RvR Call To Arms! When a Call To Arm's is made it is highly expected of you to come join the defense of the realm, relic, tower, keep that may be in need of defending. We, however, stop short of using the word mandatory but it's something that you should treat as your duty to do. We will not Call to Arms if it's not necessary, so please come when we do make such a call.

6-Keep want to sell (WTS) or want to buy (WTB) requests to a minimum: It's fine to occasionally put a shout out in /as, but please DO NOT SPAM!

7-F.U.N is not in the business of PL'ing. Other guilds in this alliance set their own rules for powerleveling. Generally speaking, if you are in F.U.N and want a PL, you are in the wrong guild. Some members of F.U.N graciously offer to run PL groups on occasion. If you are in F.U.N and happen upon a PL group, fine, but do NOT expect it or request it! Continual begging for PL's will get you booted from the guild.

8-YOU are responsible for your own enjoyment. Do not expect your guild or this alliance to make sure you're having fun 24/7. START YOUR OWN GROUP instead of spamming LFG for hours.

9-Silence is not a snub. If F.U.N or the guilds in this alliance do not answer your question, chances are the people currently online didn't see it or don't KNOW the answer. If you've asked 2-3 times with no response, try a pst to an individual.

10-Respect Alliance GMs and alliance guild officers: Alliance GMs and officers are expected to uphold the listed requirements regardless if F.U.N officers are present. Along with the F.U.N GMs and F.U.N officers, these people have been tasked with maintaining the rules and guidelines of this alliance. If you feel you have been treated unfairly by ANY alliance member (regardless of which guild they belong to or what rank they are), please private message (PM) a F.U.N GM with your complaint rather than continue a debate in the public channel. Managing a huge alliance is not easy and cooperation would be for the best.

11-There are MANY alliance members looking for arpees, good drops, quests, epics, etc. We are all in this together, please help your guild and alliance-mates if you have the time, it only makes us stronger!

A-Absolutely no flaming!! If a post is made of an inflammatory nature, do not respond. There is no reason to bring personal issues or flaming of any kind to this forum.

In general, a prospective member must be:

1. Sponsored by a current guild member

2. Complete the two week probationary period including bringing all alts into the guild.
